Atsora's strengthened presence in North America

This summer, Atsora Solutions continued its international development with a strategic trip to North America. The goal: to meet with machining workshops, understand their concrete challenges, and strengthen local collaborations.

On this occasion, we met with Bruce Thomas, an Atsora partner based in Michigan, who represents our solutions in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. This time on the ground helped to consolidate an essential dynamic: building an industrial solution that is closely aligned with operational realities.

Workshop visits to better understand industrial challenges

Beyond formal exchanges, these trips are primarily an opportunity to directly observe production environments. CNC workshop visits in Canada and the United States provided valuable feedback from customers and prospects.

These interactions highlight a strong trend in the manufacturing industry:

  • A desire to optimize the performance of machine tools

  • A growing need to ensure the reliability of production data

  • A search for automation of reporting processes

In a context where competitiveness increasingly relies on data mastery, these observations confirm the relevance of the approach advocated by Atsora.

Reducing manual reporting through machine data

One point that consistently comes up in discussions with industry professionals is the still too strong dependence on manual entries.

In many workshops, operators spend a significant amount of time entering production information, often with heterogeneous tools. This leads to:

  • Time losses

  • Risk of errors

  • A partial view of the on-site reality

However, CNC machines already have a large amount of exploitable data. The real challenge is not data collection, but the intelligent utilization of this data.

It is precisely on this point that Atsora Tracking differentiates itself.

Atsora Tracking: transforming CNC data into a performance lever

Atsora Tracking allows for the real-time capture, structuring, and utilization of data from machine tools, without complicating the existing environment.

The approach is based on several key principles:

1. Utilize the data already available

Rather than adding hardware layers or external sensors, Atsora relies directly on the native data from the CNC.

2. Make information clear and actionable

Raw data is transformed into understandable indicators, allowing production teams to make quick and relevant decisions.

3. Eliminate non-value-added tasks

By automating reporting, operators can focus on their core business: producing efficiently.

4. Adapt to on-site realities

Each workshop is different. The solution is designed to integrate flexibly, without imposing unnecessary rigidity.

A vision aligned with the expectations of the North American market

The North American market is distinguished by a high level of industrial maturity, but also by a high demand for return on investment.

The discussions held on-site confirm several key expectations:

  • Simple solutions to deploy

  • Concrete use of data (not theoretical)

  • A measurable improvement in productivity

In this context, Atsora Tracking stands out as a relevant alternative to heavier or overly cloud-dependent solutions, offering a pragmatic, field-oriented approach.

A strategic collaboration with a local partner

Collaboration with Bruce Thomas plays a central role in the development of Atsora in North America. His deep knowledge of the local industrial fabric allows for:

  • Quickly identifying the specific needs of the workshops

  • Adapting the messaging and practices

  • Creating a trusting relationship with clients

This proximity is a key success factor in a market where the human dimension remains crucial.

Accelerating Atsora's international development

This trip is part of a broader strategy: to make Atsora a reference player in the exploitation of machine data on an international scale.

The lessons learned from these visits allow for:

  • Refining the product roadmap of Atsora Tracking

  • Prioritize high-value features

  • Adapt the offering to the specificities of different markets

The goal remains constant: to offer a solution that concretely improves the performance of machining workshops, relying on intelligent data utilization.

Conclusion: an innovation built on the ground

More than just a simple trip, this immersion in North America confirms a strong belief: industrial innovation is not decreed, it is built through contact with users.

By going directly into the workshops, listening to needs, and observing practices, Atsora ensures that it develops a truly useful solution, aligned with the current challenges of Industry 4.0 and beyond.
